Segre-nation?

Inevitably, the segregation issue has been lingering on for the past couple of years but recently has been catapulted into the forefront of our country's current events. I read about it, I hear people talk about, I see demonstrations on TV, but have never really voiced my opinion. Not that I think it's not important, on the contrary actually, everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if it means they'd rather not have one.

I'm not your extremist political activist who is determined to make a change, key word being determined, I just state my opinion to whomever wants to hear it, how modest of me right? So what IS my opinion? I don't support segregation, why? Not simply because the logic behind segregation is absurd but because that the whole issue is a power struggle, who gets the last say, which party gets to have it their way! Sure, the anti-seg people are doing an amazing job, but unfortunately they're facing an upward battle, seriously, the pro-seg clan's ignorance is so overwhelming that they are stuck in their own illogic! Blah, they need to take a debate course, just to show their credibility because their reasons for segregation simply SUCK!

So, segregation will supposedly decrease the divorce rate, the rate of STDs, infidelity, number of abortions and the moral values of the general public and specifically teenagers and young adults? mHm, so I'm supposed to believe that all that wouldn't happen while having segregated schools and even workplaces? So, it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with how people are raised or choose to behave? So, naturally, segregation will automatically create virtuous people who turn a blind eye to anything sexual. Yes, sexual. Haven't you noticed that their whole claim for segregation is purely sexual. Why? Don't they have the faith that parents have the capability of rearing their children and raising them to be decent people? Yeah, maybe segregation will make people less perverted right? We have segregated institutions here and it's clear that whatever happens there happens everywhere else. You don't want your kids in mixed schools? Then put them in segregated ones. Yes, it is THAT simple people!

Segregation isn't mandatory either in educational or work environments and whoever says so is a very insecure individual and wants to create a regressing culture that is controlled by fear! Let them raise their voices, it just shows that their argument is weak. There you have it, this is where I stand on the subject, and yeah I'm done with the discussing the segregation issue, let's move on to another one.

Resuscitation In Progress!

This is going to be an attempt to revive this sorry excuse of a blog, seriously, who neglects their blog for five months or so? How inhumane! Anyway, I was contemplating creating a new one, starting from fresh, but that isn't a good idea seeing that this blog was created to "start from scratch" from a previous blog I had... Hmm, so NO, I'm not going to lie and persuade myself that I'm going to write religiously if I had a new blog, which seems very tempting at this moment but unfortunately I know myself all too well, I'd probably write this post and feel so proud of myself of accomplishing such a feat and disappear for a couple of odd months or so.

Writing used to be such a breeze, what happened? God, I feel like it's such a burden but I have to get back into my writing "vibe" first. We'll see how it goes... this time.
