Prison Break: Local Style

You all probably read or heard about the original plan of a couple of inmates at the local prison who attempted to "break" out. They were influenced by the highly popular series Prison Break. The question is did they actually know about the series, seeing that they were in prison? Did their relatives/friends actually tell them to try it out and see how it works with them? Or did they come up with the plan themselves? Ya7lailhum :P

They used knives, spoons, and some metal utensils, and dug themselves a tunnel that incidentally started from under the toilet (original much?) that is so ripping prison break off! But what sucks is that after 6 months of digging they face a concrete wall and get their cover blown by some other jealous inmates who weren't invited in the so-called freedom trek :P

My initial reaction was that EVEN if you group of smart men escape, its not like they won't catch you lets say hmmm 5 hours later, and I'm being generous here. The country is tiny and seeing that there aren't alot of prisons around here, they'll have all their energy focusing on catching all of you. But I have to say, 6 months under the radar is impressive... I can't imagine how they felt when they hit that wall! They probably had that wall for something other than can keeping inmates from escaping... but oh well, it did come in handy.

Comments:
the wall was probably an architetural error

and if the jeleous inmate didnt tell they probably would have gotten away with it

ya7lailhum

atleast it gave them something to occupy themselves with for 6 months

n they can entertain themselves with covering the hole

u know my initial reaction was awwwwww but ba3dain LOL 7ada a blooper misakeen and then it wat the hell!! a7san they got caught. and why wouldnt their policemen or guards people notice this?

eshda3wa- it was either they wanted their 15 minutes of fame or they were really bored and digging away for 6 months using spoons was a bright idea at the time :P

princess- it takes alot of patience and sanity to do that fa sij ya7lailhum.. I would've liked to see what their plan after the escape would be :P
Maybe the guards will be checking for other underground tunnels hehe

Goodness me!
Hahaha!

OMG thats hilarious!

The spoon idea was actually effective years ago when two prisoners escaped from Alcatraz in San Fransisco. Worked for them in one of the most strict prisons at that time, maybe they had hope it'll work our for them here? Imagine they actually escaped, do you think they'd notice their disappearance? :P
